Learn pottery in a relaxed, supportive, and friendly studio environment. Your session will be one-to-one tuition, allowing you to decide what to make. Grazyna will define a structured course path to take you from inspiration and design to crafting your final ceramic piece(s).
Practical help and supportive tuition
Sessions are tailored individually to suit your ability and project ambitions. All levels are welcome, from first-time beginners to experienced potters who want to improve their skills, develop their practice further, and learn how to master the pottery wheel, hand-building tools, and specialist glazing methods.
Everything you need is included to make your pottery project, sculpture, or art piece
All the materials and access to the equipment you need are included. Grazyna will guide you at each stage during your lessons with demonstrations, personal tuition, and practical tips to make your project a reality.
Project-based ceramics and pottery
Making beautiful objects out of clay is a hands-on learning experience. Grazyna offers friendly guidance and support for self-directed projects, allowing you to learn and follow your passion at a pace that suits you. Each pottery session/class can be arranged based on how many times you would like to visit and the type of project you wish to do. Please note that a minimum of three sessions is required in any booking.

All sessions are tailored to you and your project. Please get in touch via email or phone to discuss what you would like to make first, and Grazyna will help advise you on the appropriate number of sessions needed to bring your project to life!
Please note: Due to the process of pottery making and the science involved, a minimum of three sessions is required to complete a project from the beginning to the final piece.
Pottery sessions are held throughout the year at our home studio in East Dorset near the New Forest. Maximum class sizes are four people, so it's perfect for beginners and couples, with tuition that is personal, hands-on and encouraging.
What to wear and bring
You should wear clothing that you won't mind getting clay splats on however aprons are provided. All tools and materials will be provided at the studio. You're welcome to bring ideas or pictures with you of what you'd like to try and make. – Please also have short fingernails.
